How to replace the battery:
- Note: If you are not expert or knowledgeable in this work, you can get it done by a nearby technician
- Power down your laptop and unplug it from the AC adapter.
- Close the lid of the laptop and turn it over.
- Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the computer. It is usually secured by latches or screws.
- Carefully remove the battery compartment cowl.
- Disconnect the battery connector from the PC motherboard.
- Remove the old battery from the compartment.
- Insert a brand new battery into the compartment making sure the battery connector is aligned with the connector on the motherboard.
- Reconnect the battery connector to the motherboard.
- Replace the battery compartment cowl and secure it with a latch or screw.
- Turn your PC over and open the lid.
- Plug in the AC adapter for your computer and power on.
