Been more than a year .. Working fine .. Even after heavy gaming..

Bought a 230W charger on Feb 2021 for Acer Predator Helios 300
Worked well for 1 year. A few days back, the power cable (the cable that connects the adapter to the power socket) started malfunctioning. I had to hold the cable in certain position for it to work correctly. Today, when I connected the cable and switched the plug on, the cable sparked and gave a burnt smell. I immediately switched the plug off, removed the cable from the adapter and examined it and found a hole in it, where the burnt smell was coming from.
Good thing I had my old, original charger with me. I used the power cable from that and it’s working fine now. The adapter and the remaining part of the charger (adapter to laptop) is fine.
The cable feels like cheap quality.
A bit of advice for anyone who is looking to buy this charger – if the cable from your old, original charger is still working, then keep it. It might prove to be useful someday.

I have been using the charger for almost 2 months and it is working fine. But it gets heated during gaming, which was not the case with the original adapter.

OE charger quality is missing but does the job
is working fine but 3 pin plug wire was faulty , I had to use another 3 pin plug wire
The adapter is delivered in a good packaging. I have been using the adapter from past 2 months, and it’s working fine and it’s an original charger. However the quality of the power cable ie. the cable cable connecting the adapter to power outlet is not very good. It feels somewhat poor. Although I am using my old cable, but I suspect that the cable of this charger wont remain in working condition if used heavily.
