It works great! Edit: It worked great for 6 months. Then it started losing capacity. Finally, it stopped holding any charge at all. In just 8 months! It's really stupid that HP doesn't stock spares for this battery - it has a manufacturing defect that makes it puff up really bad in 2 years and that stops the spacebar from working and pushes the back panel open. We are forced to resort to third parties for replacements. So there is a "battery counterfeit check" error that pops up on every boot; but this is unavoidable for any 3rd party trying to make spares for this model because HP is enforcing this in BIOS. Can't disable it. But thankfully it disappears when you press enter or wait 60s, so it doesn't affect the flow much and you forget about it soon. LapGadgets sent the item on time and everything, which is why I wrote this review, but looks like this is not a very high quality product.

    order from Lapgadgets at first but the price and availability of the product compared with other websites and offline market , left me no choice. The packaging was perfect and the product worked perfectly fine. Although it “might” not be original , the quality was top notch. I also got additional coupons for which the price and delivery charge was even lower. It took a few days to deliver(There was an option for quicker delivery with additional charges). Overall a really good experience, 10/10 Recommended.

Is this a genuine battery? I mean after installation HP Spectre detects counterfeit battery so is it a genuine product from HP? Yugandhar asked on April 28, 2021
